Do you need to pick a saint's name at your Confirmation?

You would need to pick a saints name, they are considered your guide and protector. Because it's a supplement to being baptised. By being confirmed it's a way of announcing coming adulthood, or showing maturity in your faith. Having a saints name that you picked is special to you and would help in this process.

It must be the name of a saint as each saint patrons different qualities and your choice will be the one that best represents you.
