Do dryer balls really work in softening your clothes and reducing the amount of static you get in them?

I am considering purchasing dryer balls so that I can reduce the amount of dryer sheets I have to purchase.

Dryer balls do really work and they work better than the dryer sheets. They are great for getting your clothes soft and for reducing static cling. They last a long time to.

I bought some dryer balls when they first came out and was very unhappy with them. I didn't think they reduced the static at all.

they do reduce the amount of static. they are a smart purchase. recently we just bought the 'bounce bar'. you actually attach it to the inside of your dryer and it lasts for up to two months. i really like it. it only costs four dollars and my clothes smell wonderful and no static.

Dryer balls work effectively in softening clothes as well as reducing the amount of static that your clothes acquire after being in the dryer.
