Do a woman wear a housecoat any more?

I never considered calling my indoor jackets and sweaters housecoats before. But, yes... I would have to say that it is very normal for women to have a variety of housecoats to choose from. The home is typically a place you want to feel warm and comfortable in. If your temperature is low, it's a must.

Yes women do still wear housecoats but they are not as popular as they were about 30 years ago when quilted nylon garments were worn by many women. They were often combined with a nightdress but today pyjamas are more popular and velour leisurewear is probably the equivalent of the housecoat.

No they do not wear a housecoat. They might be wearing a robe, but they do not wear them anymore. It's the 21st century most women won't even wear robes. No one stays home these days. Everyone is out in the business world making money. But yes I agree they are comfortable.
