If you are having cramping, bloating, or alternating diarrhea with constipation, you could have irritable bowel syndrome, or Crohn's disease. However, if you have no ohter symptoms, you may just have eaten something that is hard for your system to digest. If the diarrhea does not persist, it was probably just a passing minor digestive upset.

Some mucus in the stool is normal because our intestines produce it. However, it can be a sign of a bacterial infection, colitis, Crohn's disease or sometimes cancer. If mucus is more than usual for you, see your doctor.

Diarrhea with no other symptoms is generally caused by a change in the diet. Some women experience Diarrhea during menstruation because of hormonal changes. Diarrhea is the bodies natural way of ridding itself of bacteria and viruses. Some infections present with few symptoms others have a long incubation period, therefore you may still get other symptoms.
