Few computers have floppy drives anymore because a floppy disc holdslittle information. Most programs will come on a CD for installation or a DVD in the case of larger programs.

Most computer do not even have floppy drives. All software is either on cd-rom or down-loadable so they are obsolete. However if you need one you can usually install one if you have an empty drive bay. Then you just need to look online for the correct drivers for it. Some companies mane even still make new floppy drives.
