No you cannot. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, and there is no possible way to overdose on it, due to the body's fast excretion of it. The worse that will happen is stomach aches and diharreha.

It is possible to overdose on Vitamin C and prolonged habitual over dosage can lead to permanent damage to body organs. Maximum recommended intake is generally around 90mg though some individuals take up to 500mg during times of illness or stress. Exceeding these amounts can cause significant discomfort and possibly long term health issues.

Yes you sure can. You should only take the recommended dose of Vitamin C that is on the bottle. Almost every brand recommends one tablet per day. When you have too much of a certain Vitamin, even if you haven't taken too much, it starts to take the opposite effect of what it's supposed to be doing.

Taking Vitamin C more than the recommended daily allowance (RDA) will not cause an overdose. Since vitamin C is water soluble the body will use what it needs and urinate the rest out. It is still not a good idea to take vitamin C in large doses.

Despite conventional wisdom, it is possible to overdose on Vitamin C. 500 mg is more than enough, even if you're trying to fight an infection.
