Freeview is an Australian free digital TV provider that at best gets mixed reviews from many that looked to this service to replace cable or satellite. Most suggest that it will get better with time (in both reception and the quality/quantity of shows available), however, as with many new services, there's a level of frustration that some just don't want.

If you're looking for something new? Sure. Reliable? Don't get me started. Freeview TVs are bad, and they are a very cheap brand that has a poor manufacturer reputation and a terrible maintenance record. You get what you pay for, I'm afraid, and in this case I would stay far, far away.

Freeview has mixed reviews. A lot of people has issues with reception, and not a lot of channels to choose from. However it is cheaper than normal cable.
