Can Adobe CS3 for Mac run on a PC?

No. Macintosh software will not run on a PC and vice versa. Some software is released in a hybrid form, where the PC and Mac versions are on the same disc, but I do not believe CS3 was released in that format. The disc will say so if it is.

It can't run in Mac OS alone but if you use a windows emulating program like Virtual PC or VMware Fusion it will run within that program. It will be like having two separate operating systems on one computer.

This only works with an mac emulator. You have to install the Mac OS Emulator first and then load CS3 into it. Try basilisk for OS 8.6.

Usually no... but you can check the DVD case... if it can run on a PC too, it should explicitly say so.

No. The Mac and Windows versions are separate products that can only run on the designated platform. You can contact Adobe customer support to perform a cross-platform upgrade.

No. Most software written for a Mac cannot run on a Windows-based computer. A Windows-based computer uses a completely different operating system, and therefore a completely different method of accomplishing certain tasks that software requires.
