Can a 17-year-old move out of her parents' house in Georgia?

While a 17 year old is generally not a minor per 16-12-1(3) of the Georgia Code, there is a provision that extend the age of minority to include all individuals under 18 if they are "at risk". Since runaways are de-facto considered at risk, a seventeen year old runaway could be picked-up by the police.

Actually the legal age of majority is eighteen. Any one under the age of eighteen cannot just move out from their parents home.
