Well, it is not the best place. If you want great decorating ideas watch the Debby Travis Show and other decorating channels on the TLC network. Look at magazines for trendy new ideas to be up to date. Any one store can't always be the best for a variety of reasons.

Yes, Pier One is an excellent place to find decorating ideas. Also, they change some of their displays depending on the season. For instance at Christmas, if you are looking for ideas for holiday table decorations, just take a look at some of the table displays they have set up.
