Chest discomfort lasting more than a few minutes, nausea, pain in one or both arms, the neck, jaw, back, or stomach can mean you are having a heart attack. You may have shortness of breath. A doctor would diagnose a heart attack after reviewing results from tests and your medical history.

If you were having a heart attack you would feel a sharp pain in your chest. You would also feel really dizzy and feel like you need to sit down. If you have any of these symptoms I would suggest that you get to a hospital as fast as possible. The sooner you go in the better.

See a doctor IMMEDIATELY if you're unsure. Symptoms can range from shortness of breath to pains in your chest, arms, back, or even mouth. Not everyone experiences the same symptoms.

Classic symptoms are crushing chest pain that runs down your left arm, shortness of breath, uncontrolled sweating, and dizziness. You should go to an ER if you have these symptoms.
