If you are a portrait artist and are interested in creating realistic and highly detailed works with a lot of depth, then the Tombow Mono Homograph pencils are perfect for you. These pencils are also great for sketch animation. They can be hard to find, but they are worth it.

I have heard of many great things about the quality in the Tombow Mono Homograph pencils. My art teacher from High school requested us to purchase our own set, and even paid out of her own pocket for those who were unable to purchase them their self.

Yes I would! These portraits are creative and detailed. He's probably one of the most modern portrait artists to date that hold any real depth. His portraits are just as good as sketch animation

Absolutely. My sister is a graphic designer in New York, and she gave me a box of Tombow Mono Homograph pencils for Christmas a few years ago. I haven't used any other pencils in my sketch book ever since.

I enjoy drawing with pencils but I do not have a preference for any one brand. Make some gradation tests with a few different pencils and get a feel for them. If you can't feel or see any difference, then stay with a more common pencil.
