Liver enzymes can be high in certain kinds of dog cancers. The enzymes will also be high if the dog has a liver disease.

It depends on what kind of cancer the dog has. If the dog has liver cancer/ problems then this could be a signal of this. It is very rare for dogs to get cancer in the liver. A vet should be able to tell you if your dog has cancer in any area of the body.

Many cancers can create higher liver enzymes, however, it does not usually mean the dog has cancer. Usually, a blood test is conducted to see what kind of enzymes are high for the liver. It is best to check with the vet for a proper diagnosis. High liver enzymes can also be caused by Cushing's Disease and other diseases.

That would be a possibility, however, high liver enzymes can also be a sign of diabetes, an autoimmune problem, or simply that your dog ate a plant that wasn't good for him. My best advice is get the advice of a vet. They can run some blood tests and determine what is wrong.
