It will help provided you are sleeping in an alignment that is natural. Your pillows should be high enough such that your head is in a normal position in conjunction to your spine, which straightens your spine and reduces back pain.

Yes, it can help if you put a pillow between your legs that is if you can sleep that way. It can help to a degree.

It might, but you have to have proper support. You have to have a pillow between your legs to support your hips, and a pillow to hug. And switching sides every few hours between sleep would also be good because you do not want to compress one side of your body for a prolong period of time.

In most cases, sleep on ones side can cause more serious problems. If you are going to do this, you need to make sure to keep your head level with good support under your neck. Contour pillows are good for this. If you inadvertantly raise your head, this puts pressure on the spine which can cause much more pain.

For some, sleeping on their side with a pillow between legs at the knees helps with back pain. The main ingredients for relief is to have a good mattress and pillows. Sleeping while proped up on several pillows, sort of in a sitting position may provide relief.

Sleeping on your side could just inflame the pain by placing an uneven amount of weight on one side of your back.

I don't think so. cause back pain are cause due to pulling something or not enough blood flow. therefore, if you were to sleep on your side you would put more pressure on one side. you might wake up with a sore or even dead arm. but it wont helpyourback
