Ovarian cysts do not hurt or hamper your chances of becoming pregnant. It is common for a woman to experience an ovarian cyst. Sometimes they will often be unaware of them. A cysts will not damage your ovaries as the body will naturally shed the cyst on time.

They won't damage your ovaries, and yes, they do effect your fertility among other things. They will not, in most cases, prevent you from ovulating but will make it harder.
