Dial up internet access is essentially obsolete now. So many websites are big bandwith users that dial up slows all actions down.

In America and developed countries it will become obsolete, but in developing countries and more remote areas it will still be present as it is easier and cheaper.

It is likely that dial up internet will go the way of 8-track tape players and phonographs. Today's web requires fast internet connections.

It depends on what you mean by "obsolete. " Technically, dial-up has been obsolete for years, ever since broadband connections became available to the masses. In this sense, obsolete means that there is a newer technology that is far superior. If you mean that within 2 years, no one will use it at all, I doubt it. Change is slow.

I don't believe that it will, but I do believe however that there will be other modes which will be just as popular (if not moreso), but no, I don't think so.
