If you are positive for chlamydia it will not cause you to have an abnormal PAP smear. However, if your doctor sees something abnormal they may test your for STD's.

Yes it can cause an abnormal PAP smear. Really any kind of infection like that can cause an abnormal smear. It isnt just cancer that will cause this. Just take in mind that you will need to wait and see what the doctor finds.

No. A PAP smear is a test to see whether the cells on your cervix are normal or changing, which could be a precursor to cervical cancer. A separate, specific test has to be performed to find out if you have chlamydia.
