Question by  Annie51 (31)

Will chiropractic treatment be a good option for my vertigo?

I have been suffering from vertigo for some time now, so far nothing I have tried has worked to cure the symptoms.

Chiropractic care can help with vertigo especially if it's related to your back or neck being out of alignment, however I have found acupuncture to work much better. A good practitioner is able to identify the cause of the vertigo and treat it with acupuncture points.

Depending on the type of vertigo, it is possible to feel relief with chiropractic treatment. Trauma to the cervical vertebrae (starts at the head down your neck) can cause some types of vertigo. These types of vertigo such as Disembarkment Syndrome, Meniere's disease, and Benign Positional Vertigo can benefit with reduced symptoms. No guarantee can be made for cure.

Unless your vertigo is due to a misaligned spine, which is exceedingly rare or non-existent, the best and only treatment sought, should be to see a medical professional, such as an ENT, with experience in the inner ear and associated apparatus. Chiropractors have very little merit in the world of real human suffering. Adjustments have hurt more than they help.

Many opinions on this. Chiropractic adjustments of cervical vertebrae may provide a treatment option for only selected cases of vertigo.

Yes, to extent it is a good option for treating vertigo but the same time there are some ways to reduce vertigo by ourselves that is by avoiding eatables which aggravates vertigo and also having meditation are some of the means of treatment of vertigo
