A record dealer is like anyone else in business; there are good ones and bad ones. Since records are pretty much obsolete he may give you a great bargain just for a sale. You might try to get to know the dealer and that may lead to better bargains. He may even have newspaper ads announcing sales or sales letters.

You will do best record by record on Ebay. A dealer will buy lots in bulk, and will often pick through for more valuable items -- this will save you a lot of work. Alternatively, donate them to a charitable shop and deduct the donation from your taxes.

No they wont, because they buy the records in a set and they sell them accordingly so that they can make some profit off of them and they will also sell them according to the blue book value

Probably not. Remember he has to make money if he is going to resell the record. If your record or album has a artist sleeve or album cover there are art dealers who are looking for this. Contact the rock n roll hall of fame near you for info.
