Why would dinosaurs fight with each other?

Or is that just fictional stuff?

For the same reasons that any other animals will fight each other: over territory, mating rights, food, water access, or to kill them for food. Fighting and competition is something that is common amongst all animals. As Herbert Spencer said (not Darwin, though it's usually attributed), it has to do with "survival of the fittest".

I would say that they probably fought for food. Nobody knows for sure but some probably didn't want other dinosaurs in their area. And probably the males fought the males during mating season. Maybe they fought each other at times to the death so the winner ate the loser. Who really knows?
