You most likely have a disorder called Tinnitutus. Hearing loss, an overdose of aspirin or antibiotics can cause tinnitus. Also, damage to the inner ear from a sudden loud noise.

Tinnitus has many possible causes including high blood pressure, hearing loss, exposure to loud noises, earwax, a tumor or Meniere's Disease. Certain medications can also cause or increase it.
