If the bubble is sore, white, or appearing to be pussing, it is likely a small, minor infection caused by improper care of the piercing. Clean the piercing using the solution given to you, or rubbing alcohol and it should go away in a little while. If it is pussing, you may want to drain it first.

The reason that there may be a bubble under your skin after a recent ear piercing may be because the hole is swollen or infected. After the piercing, the body tries to heal the wound of the piercing by swelling which causes a bubble.

It is most likely caused by an infection of the piercing site. This most often occurs when the piercing is not cleaned properly.

That is a keloid, an overgrowth of skin tissue due to the healing of your piercing. It's not deadly or contagious, but it can hurt. It can be treated.
