Why is the hammer loop on overalls always twisted?

It's not on mine. Maybe it is on yours because you're not actually using it to hold a hammer.

The hammer loop is twisted on overall that to make more friction and enabling it to work it for a longer time and have good equipment power and has got great friction power.

The twist on the hammer loop allows for more support. Due to the weight of the hammer, a single line of fabric would tear faster than a twisted one which makes it more durable. It holds it better and adds to the over all durability of the overalls. If that piece tore, it would make them unwearable.
