The blinking D light could mean there is a problem with the transmission in your vehicle. The first thing to check is that your transmission fluid levels and if you don't see a problem there, take the car to a qualified technician for diagnostics and service.

Any number of reasons: faulty sensor. (In which case, disconnect negative battery cable and reconnect to see if this fixes it.) The gear oil might need to be changed. Or a pressure control issue in the transmission.

Usually this indicates that you have some type of towing feature on. I would check your manual to figure out how to disable the towing feature on your Honda CRV.

It is referring to a problem detected in your transmission. It would be good to ask a mechanic to change transmission oil. If it is still blinking then it could transmission sensor problem. You need to get this to qualified mechanic who has the diagnostic tool to get the error code.

Most likely it is blinking to let you know you have a light out on your CRV "headlight, tail light or turn signal". If this is not the case you have a short in the system.
