Why is oxycodone a drug of choice for addicts?

It is a prescribed medication that is easier to get through a doctors office. They will prescribe it and then an addict will keep going back to get more. It is more legal than the illegal stuff. It depends on how much of the drug you take and how you take the drug you can get high off of it.

It can get you high in large enough amounts. Why addicts choose this drug is because it's widely available. Since it's a prescription drug it's easier for addicts to get their hands on. Illegal prescriptions and stealing drugs from others are just two of the ways these people obtain their drugs.

Oxycodone is a drug of choice for addicts because it relieves pain in your body and makes you feel better mentally as well. Oxycodone is prescribed for pain and once someone becomes addicted to it, that is the drug they continue to want or need and it comes in small doses and larger doses.
