Why is my Spandex not tight enough?

Get a smaller size. If it's not doing it's job it's either too small or you've washed it so much that it's stretched. If you buy a size that is too small and then wear it the same thing can happen. It loses it's stretch.

Spandex will not fit the way is was create if you are wearing the right size. So make sure if you are a size small, try a size extra amall on first and then the small.

Spandex will eventually lose its elasticity over time, especially because it's usually blended with cotton. Wash spandex clothing in cold water, and dry it on the lowest heat setting or air dry it if possible. Check the garment label, some items might need to be washed on the delicate or gentle cycle.
