It could have an infection or glaucoma. Both of these will increase the pressure in the eye and cause it to bulge out. Your hamster should see a vet.

This is serious and likely a tumour. Get your hamster to an exotics vet (one who specialises in rodents, not an ordinary cat/dog vet) for a check up and treatment options, asap. Small animals deserve proper medical care.

This could be from trauma, from an infection, or from cancer, so it is best to take your hamster to the vet. You can use saline drops to keep your hamster comfortable and keep the eye moist, but if the eye swelling does not go away within a day or so, go to the vet.

Your hamster's eye could be bulging out due to infection, cancer or an upper respiratory disease. Take your hamster to the vet as soon as possible.
