Why is my grapefruit tree dropping leaves?

Changes in weather cause leaves to drop. Mist the tree often and using a gravel tray is good for the tree, as they need plenty of water.

That's what those trees do! You should expect it to keep happening every fall. I would advise that you buy a rake!

One other common stress in winter is direct sun on leaves while the soil is below about 60F. Stress can come from a variety of causes.
