Why is my computer being slow?

Among the many causes are: infection by virus/spyware, dust, not clearing out old files, not clearing out temp files, too many programs at start up and errors in the system files or hard disk. I would suggest a disc cleanup, a defragment, an error check and anti-virus and anti-spyware scans.

You have either downloaded and saved way too many items on your computer, which can cause it to run very slowly, or worst case scenario, you have a virus on your computer. I would try deleting unneeded pictures and music, and if that does not work, call a computer technician.

Your computer is slow today because of some viruses have entered yours system hard drive or you have installed some heavy things on your system. You should install anti-virus.

Without physical access to the computer is very difficult to tell. Have you tried a complete restart? Is the internet connection slow or all the operations? In any case you better check the PC with a free antivirus like AVAST.

Is slow when your computer is conneted to the internet & serching or downloading many options. Also been slow due to some error problems,old model & full memory in your computer.
