Why is my Cockatiel eating her feces?

She could be bored; try taking her out of her cage more often and giving her more attention. She could also be missing something in her diet. Make sure she has plenty of vitamin and mineral supplements available. If she appears to be "eating" fresh feces, she may simply be trying to get them out of her way.

Your cockatiel probably has deficiency of calcium. Switch him to a pellet diet if he is on a seed diet because it is more nutritionally balanced and the bird can not pick out favorites. Add a cuttle bone and mineral blocks to the cage for him to chew on.
