If your phone hasn't been working sinc its purchase, you may need to take it to be serviced. A lot of the time the battery is the culprit and may need to be replaced. Take it to a dealer to have it looked at.

It must be a factory problem. Anyway, you should check the battery bars, to see if the battery charge is dropping fast, or if the phone is suddenly turning off. You have to call tracfone any way, to find out if apply for warranty. If you don't, you should have to buy a new phone and transfer everything to it.

My Samsung did the same thing. It was still under warranty, although not purchased from tracffone. I called and they are replacing my phone  add a comment

Your phone could be defective, or the battery isn't charged enough or is old and won't hold charge. It could be either of these.

Motorola phones work much like a computer. If it finds an error it will restart. Also, if the battery is no longer any good it will turn off.

The problem might be in the software. You can try to update the software as it might be a bug in that specific software. If that doesn't fix it then it might be a hardware problem. Take it to your nearest repair shop. That's the only solution.

There could be a lot of reasons. The battery may be worn out or faulty and it loses a charge quickly. There could also be an electrical problem inside the phone which is causing some kind of short circuit which shuts off the phone. Your best bet is to contact Motorola or TracFone directly to troubleshoot.

There may be a a problem with the phone but my best guess would be that you just need a new battery.

My tracfone keep restarting since they sent me a new sim card. Phone never restart itself with old sim card. So that tells me that new sim has the problem. They refuse to tell it is that causing it.
