Why does my sneeze smell?

It's probably just from a sinus infection. You are probably also blowing color junk out of your nose. It's colored and smells because it sets in your sinus cavities and does not move out for awhile.

What you are actually smelling is the mucus and spit that you expectorated during the sneeze. Most people are surprised to realize that both these things have a smell, and generally not a pleasant one. Additionally, your mucus traps dirt and other particulates from entering your system, thus it smells.

You probably have some bacterial build up in your sinuses causes an odor to the discharge from your nostrils right now.

this could be a few things. Do you have a cold? When you have some type of sinus infection the infection can cause an order. You might want to check with your doctor and see what he thinks.

Everyone's sneezes smell. It is not because of an infection, or being dirty at all. It's just how it is. That's why my brother and I hold ours in.
