I am worried that there could be something wrong with my sister, when she sweats she smells of onions.

This may be a side condition of the diet. If many onions are consumed the sweat can smell like onions. Reduce garlic intake, or other forms of onions.

Sweating is one of the ways the body rids itself of impurities. Diet can affect the odor of perspiration, especially garlic and onions.

One thing to do would be to limit the amount of onions your sister eats. I am guessing that is not the problem. Some people just have a natural odor about them. I would get it checked out by a doctor to rule out any health problems.
