Why does my RPM drop off in my Volvo?

If at an idle, the car is probably warm. If it seems like the car is dying when you stop then the idle sensor may need to be adjusted. Sudden drop offs can also be caused by problems in the fuel system. This can be a difficult problem to diagnose, I recommend taking it to a mechanic to prevent damage.

tre rpm drop off due various reasons if the fuel air ratio is improper the rpm will defenitly drop. if your timer is not adjusted correctly still rpm will drop in extrem cold conditions if not warmed properly rpm will suddenly drop

If the RPM is starting to drop off in your Volvo vehicle then you will have to have your transmission replaced.
