Why does my cat attack me?

If this happens when you first come home, your cat might just be playful or want attention, or need to be fed. It could be a scent you're tracking in when you enter. If you are male and your cat is male, he might be expressing dominance.

You cat may always be attacking you because it wants to play and by attacking you it is trying to get your attention. Show is some love by playing with it, getting it some toys, or just petting it.

Your cat may be in heat. This is especially so of male cats, they may become aggressive during "mating" season.

Cats attack their owners for several reasons. Showing the owner who is boss probably rates highest. Attacking can be a form of play.
