Why does my car make a rumbling noise when turning the corner?

worn crankshaft main bearing is the problem. sometimes ruptured rubber dustcover over the universal joint of the wheels could be the reason. Also grease sweeping out from the mudguard and suspension parts.

The most likely things to look at would be first the wheel bearings front and rear. If those are good you should check the CV joints.

Your steering linkage needs to be lubricated A part of the steering linkage is loose or damaged and needs to be replaced You have worn suspension pieces The fluid in the system has air in it

Usually the problem is a worn outer drive shaft bearing for front wheel driven cars. Another cause may be worn out steering linkages. And in very rare cases, a faulty steering box. As a mechanic, I also found out that worn engine mounts, worn gear box or transmission mounts can also produce a rumbling noise and vibration.
