Some women generally produce a "sweet sweat" smell, the odor excreted from the breast and the underbreast may smell of a faint maple syrup/milk scent, and it gets a bit stronger when lactation is established, you might have 'high prolactin levels', its normal, see a Dr. for peace of mind.

Ask the Dr. for a sure answer but most milk smells and tastes like what you eat. Exam what your drinking and eatting and do research on what not to take in while breat feeding. I would call the Dr's office and the local lalechea league for questions and answers.

Breast milk can take on the odors or flavors of what you are eating. So, if you are eating strong foods, such as onions or garlic the smells will be in your breast milk. Try avoiding these and other strong smelling foods and see if the problem stops. If not, I would go see a Dr.

Because the components of breast milk are living substances are very similar to blood components and thus have the characteristic odor.

Your body odor will never affect Breast milk. Changes in flavor or color may depend on what you had on the previous or that particular day. You might want to consider changing your diet to see if that helps. If the odor is still there, you should consult your doctor.

The smell and taste of breast milk is affected by the mother's diet. Strong smelling foods such as onions and garlic may be causing this.

Are you sure it smells like body odor? Have someone else check to be sure. If the smell is foul it could be something you are eating.

Every body has its own natural odor and the breast milk also has the constituents of that body odor in it.

Breast milk is modified sweat and it's made by your body. So, of course it smells sweaty. Your exposed skin during nursing can also release this smell.
