Why does it snow?

Because there is cold air that is combined with precipitation that falls from the sky. Snow is created when rain interacts with air that is below freezing.

In the earth when the moisture in the air becomes lower than 0 degrees or the temperature falls below 0 degrees to - values the air will make the rains as snow.As we know that when waters temperature is lower than 0 degrees it becomes Ice. So, snow falls.

Snow forms due to ice crystals falling from the clouds. As they fall they combine with others to form larger crystals. As long as the air is cold it snows.
