Pregnancy causes various hormonal changes, which can sometimes cause digestive issues. As the fetus grows, the intestines and stomach are also "shoved over" by the growing baby, which can also cause stomach acid to buble up near the base of the esophagus. This causes a frequent feeling of indigestion and general discomfort.

Indigestion can occur during pregnancy as your baby grows and starts to take up space previously occupied by your digestive system. Eating smaller more frequent meals can help.

As your baby grows your stomach has less room, causing indigestion. Not eating acidic foods, walking after meals, and eating small meals more frequently will help.

When I had it when I was pregnant they told me that meant that my son would be born with hair when in all actuality it has more to do with the baby stressing your body. I had it so bad that I would puke. I was told it had to do with how he would push on my stomach.

What causes heartburn and indigestion during pregnancy: when you are pregnant the muscle at the top of the stomach that usually prevents digestive acids from backing up into the esophagus relaxes. This allows those painfully acidic digestive juices to splash back up — causing irritation and burning. also you could be getting hart bern if your baby has alot of hair.
