Cat Scans are generally performed when there is head or spine injuries that occur in bad accidents. They can see things that a normal x-ray cannot see.

CAT scans are given when your doctor suspects there may be something wrong with your body. They're extremely useful and sometimes necessary to diagnose internal issues like tumors, or where a significant injury has occurred (such as an incredibly severe fracture). I had one to diagnose my deviated septum, so that I could be treated for sinusitis.

When there is diseases of brain, spinal cord and when an X-ray image alone may not be sufficient to diagnosis accurately then it is essential to take CT scan.

CAT Scan means Computerised Automated Tomography, is a very usefull technoque to diagnose various medical conditions. It is very much precise and gives detailed informations about size and depth of the pathological conditions. It is very usefull in diagnosis of many brain coditions like Brain Tumour, Brain Haemorrhages, aneurisms etcs.

a cat scan is way to examine certain organs or parts of the body thru x-ray technology. it permits doctors to diagnos problems with better accuracy then with normal one dimensional x-rays.

You need a cat scan to tell exactly which area of the bone is fractured and needs repaired. It helps prove an x-ray correct and helps promote accuracy in the medical field.
