Why do my feet turn out when walking?

Answer by  rbiales (3441)

Most of the time your feet turn out because your feet and knees are connected to your hips, and the ball of your hip has rotated in that direction.

Feet turn out due to pronation, which is a rolling of the foot, or due to the way the hips are set. An orthopedist can help determine the exact cause.
