Why do my brake lights flash?

They're not a fancy flashing kind of brake light.

Sometimes brake lights will flash if you have a bad fuse, generally this is only common on older cars. A short in your vehicles wiring harness such as an exposed wire rubbing on bare metal could also be a cause undesired flashing.

your brakes could be flashing because the brake wire is grounding out somewhere on your car and another reason could also be that the switch by pedal is lose and it needs to be tightened so it will work the way it was meant to work. try those 2 things

Well a flashing light means that there is probably something wrong in the wiring. Like the brake light switch is failing or you have a losse ground or frayed wire.
