Why do I lose my Direct signal when I connect to my TV?

If it is raining, the rain could be interfering with the signal waves that are transferring from your dish to the satellite. If that's not the case it might be good to call your service provider as you might have a defective piece of equipment. If you rent the box from them they will replace it if its defective.

I would check the connection wire. Its sounds like there may be a problem with the connection. I would also check your television out.

This may be because of your connection to a electrical line. Check all your electrical lines leading from your home. It seems that your signal is fine other than losing it.
