Tingling in the extremities such as the fingers can be caused by many things, perhaps the most common being poor blood circulation. If it persists for more then a couple days, consult with your doctor as it could be the side affect of something serious.

Its usually caused by poor circulation. The tingling sensation is probably when circulation speeds up into your hands. You might also get it in your feet to since usually one goes with the other.

It can be because of something pretty serious like multiple sclerosis, diabetes, carpel tunnel syndrome, or a neurological problem. Mental health problems such as anxiety can be the culprit also.

It could be "carpal tunnel syndrome", which can be caused by excessive typing, among other things. It's best to get it checked by your doctor before it gets worse.
