Leafspot or Blackspot originates from a fungal rose disease. The fungus puts out a chemical(ethylene) to kill leaf tissue. Preventive fungacide applications should be exercised when needed.

Basically spots are caused by fungus. Fungus Diplocarpon rosae is the fungus affecting the roses. Diseased leaves that fall on the ground should be removed or burned. Fungicides can be applied for the affected roses. Water them in morning to avoid dryness of the leaves. Do not allow your plant in rainy reason without fungicides.

You could have spots on your plants because one you could be over feeding them or they could be getting too much sun.

The brown and yello spots on your roses are because of mildew-fungus that roses generally have. This is because of the soil content. Make sure that you spray water along with 1% of milk in it. This will help.
