A gurgling sound in the throat is usually associated with tiny air bubbles in the stomach that are being released. This is usually manifested by indigestion from gassy foods such as beans or veggies.

It could be related to acid reflux if it's followed by a burning sensation as well. Or it could be a mucus building up if you suffer from post nasal drip. Check with a doctor to see if it might be Laryngopharyngeal reflux, which can be treated with medication.

It could be that it isn't your throat. It is a possibility that you either have an upper respiratory infection, or you have bronchitis. Consult an physician.
