Why do I cry when I'm angry?

It's easy to get wrapped up in many emotions when you are angry. Sometimes, angry is caused by hurt, in which case it's easy to cry when you're mad.

The chemicals in tears are different than ordinary liquid coating your eye. Some researchers have suggested that this is one method for the body to release stress hormones. It's also a cultural thing. Women are trained to cry and not be physical, but that's changing. Other reaserchers believe that physical activity realeases the tension and helps you relax.

When you are angry, it stirrs up a lot of complex emotions, and it also makes you think about things that are upsetting to you. Everyone expresses anger in different ways, and crying when you are angry is normal. You are upset and distraut about something, and you express that by crying.

Emotions are very natural responses to life situtaions. Often times, anger ignites an emotional response that is outwardly displayed differently for different people. Many have been taught that when angry you are not to throw things, hit or punch. Crying is the most common response.

I think crying is a better way to release emotion that screaming at someone or punching something. People cry just to release their emotions. I think it's completely healthy to cry when you are angry. I know plenty of people who deal with things like that.
