Brusing is the breakage of tiny blood vessels under the skin. You may have thin skin, weak blood vessels or insufficent subcuetaneous fat.

I have this same problem. My doctor tells me that I have poor circulation and an iron dificency. He put me on some vitamins with higher iron content and they seem to be taking care of the problem. My recommendation is take some vitamins or iron pills for a month and see if this fixes the issue. Good Luck.

A bruise is caused by blood leaking from small vessels into the tissue after an injury or blow. The blood that escapes from the vessels clots quickly and the bleeding stops in most people. People who bruise more easily have a longer clotting time. The legs are more prone to bumps and knocks than the upper body.

Assess your daily routines, when are these bruises occurring? Can you anticipate the cause of the bruises and prevent it? If not take iron supplements and exercise the afflicted area to improve the overall resilience of it.

It could be the type of medication you are on. any meds that cause your blood to thin could cause you to bruise easily or another medical condition.

Bruises come from broken blood vessels and some people have them close to the skin. Whenever they are hit in that area, or bang against something, the bruises develop. They aren't dangerous but can be embarassing.
