There's AA, AAA, C, and D--but no B.

Well back in 19odd6 There was a great debate about this very subject which included as to why there was no Single "A" battery or multiple other letter types (e. g. Bb, bbb, etc. ). To this day we are at an impasse.

B Batteries never caught on in main stream america. Thee were the size in between a A & C. Electronics had no desire to spend money to make them "B".
