Why are the David Lynch films so weird?

David Lynch just has a different perspective on movies, and how stories should/can be told. Unknown whether he has a drug issue.

Many of David Lynch films involve the use of drugs. The characters are mostly extreme persons under strange circumstances. If you like intense movies about uncommon people, you will love David Lynch movies. Otherwise you will feel they are very weird.
